David T. Huang, M.D.

Dr. Huang

Dr. Huang joined the faculty at the University of Rochester after completing his cardiology and electrophysiology training at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He works in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab and provides consultations, as well as:

 

  • Electrophysiology studies
  • Catheter-based radiofrequency ablation
  • Pacemaker
  • ICD implants

 

Dr. Huang has experiences in optical mapping techniques utilizing voltage-sensitive dyes and has participated in preliminary translational research in gene therapy for sick sinus syndrome. His clinical interests mainly involve new therapeutic strategies for the management of atrial fibrillation.

 

Along with Drs. Daubert, Akiyama and Rosero, Dr. Huang sees patients at the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic at Strong Memorial Hospital. The Atrial Fibrillation Clinic offers state-of-the-art care for patients with atrial fibrillation and is also a center for research.
