Dr. Mark Taubman serves as the Unit Chief of Cardiology as well as a Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

Dr. Taubman received his medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed fellowships in Cardiology at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. Prior to coming to the University of Rochester, Dr. Taubman served as Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City
